    DIY Paint With Ice Cubes

What better time to update our Summer Bucket list now that we’re officially in the heart of fall. Better late than never right? To read the original bucket list click here. Glow in the dark sticks in the bathtub. This one is for Ben although somehow I think the kid inside of J might also want to do this.  Go camping. Even if it’s in our own backyard. Have a picnic. This one may need to be indoors if it doesn’t get below 100 soon. Make an obstacle course out of paper streamers. Fly a kite. Paint with ice cubes. Have a spray water bottle fight.  Go on a picture scavenger hunt. Go…

    Summertime in Branson

I just love Branson. I’ve gone several times with family and friends and always have a blast. In fact, Mrs. Bojangles and I took a few trips to Branson way back in our childfree days.  A few months ago my work had a silent auction fundraiser and I bid on and won a Branson package. Ben was so excited to go on a mini vacation and what better time since Summer is coming to an end. J had to work so my parents tagged along and off we went. July. The Month Of…

Creating! Creating those Pinterest projects if it kills me. A hint…I’ve already completed 3 things from my boards this month and 2/3 have been a success! Creating time to spend with my girlfriends. It’s been far too long. Creating memories with my family. This means checking more things off our Summer Bucket List. Creating a special 31st birthday for J. Ben requested there be lots of cake.  Creating a budget and sticking to it. So far so good. Creating time to read this devotional. Creating a house that’s clean, organized, and filled with love. What are you doing this July?

With a whole month of Summer gone, I’d figure I’d post my bucket list before the Summer slips away from us. Glow in the dark sticks in the bathtub. This one is for Ben although somehow I think the kid inside of J might also want to do this. Go camping. Even if it’s in our own backyard. Have a picnic. This one may need to be indoors if it doesn’t get below 100 degrees soon. Make an obstacle course out of paper streamers. Fly a kite. Paint with ice cubes. Have a spray water bottle fight. Go on a picture scavenger hunt. Go fishing. Relax. Let Ben stay up…

    Our First State Fair

A couple of weeks ago, we packed up the car and headed to the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia. If you’ve never been to a state fair, you’re missing out. It was so much better than our little county one. Think bigger, cleaner, and less creepy carnies. Still existent, but less. We met J’s parents who were staying the weekend in their RV and Ben loved having his grandma and grandpa there. We rode rides and Ben even did some by himself. And what’s a fair without fair food. It was all fun and games until the corn dog which caused me to be sick later that night. This limeade…
