Hard Seltzers Taste Test & Winner!

Hard seltzers are here to stay and they make the perfect pool drink. We decided to try (and rank) all the hard seltzers and you may or may not believe who won. Technically we didn’t try all the seltzers, but we did taste a whopping 29 flavors across 8 different brands. Wondering how we managed to do that and still function the next day? Tiny, tiny, sips 🙂 Before I get to the winners, here’s how we set up the Seltzer Standoff in case you want to do one too. I also think this would be fun with non-alcoholic seltzers and you can get the whole family involved.

Quick & Easy Vegetable Lo Mein

I used to be terrified to make any kind of Asian dish. Each time I tried the food turned out terrible and tasted nothing like the dishes at my favorite local restaurants. After lots of trial and error however I’ve got a handful of delicious dishes including this quick and easy vegetable lo mein which is the newest one I’ve added in to the rotation.

One of the most common New Year’s Resolutions I hear is to stop eating out so much. Like a lot of you, I love not having to cook. Someone else preparing a meal or even cleaning up after it is the best. But it also comes with a cost. And those costs can add up quickly. Usually when I find myself in a cooking rut, it’s because I’m tired of making the same boring things over and over. Cue Pinterest to the rescue.

    Easy Homemade Spicy Salsa

I’ve been on the hunt for a delicious and easy homemade salsa recipe for what seems like forever. I’ve made a green “Chipotle Copycat” salsa which was inedible and last weekend my husband made something that tasted like a runny spicy tomato sauce. Not our best moments. After scouring Pinterest and combining a couple different recipes, I had made a salsa that not only tasted like salsa but was better than most restaurants.
