    Double Berry Crisp

A few weekends ago we had some strawberry and blueberries that needed to be eaten so what better way to use them than in a crisp. I turned to the forgotten allrecipes.com and found this recipe. Instead of 3 different kinds of berries I just used two (blueberries and strawberries) and I halved the recipe since it served 18 people and we don’t need that much crisp. Begin by pre-heating…

    Candy Bar Ice Cream Pie

J’s birthday was last month and after browsing Pinterest for birthday cake ideas, I stumbled across an ice cream cake from Kelli. I tweaked it a little bit, changed the crust, and viola! I used about 4 of the snack size of each candy (M&Ms, Butterfinger, Snickers, Twix) -Vanilla Ice Cream -Pre-made Oreo Crust or you can make your own -Whipped cream (optional) What to Do: 1. Unwrap the candies and chop them into small pieces. I left the pieces somewhat chunky so you get bites of it when you…

    Strawberry & White Chocolate Brownies

A few months ago I was flipping through the channels and came across one of Giada De Laurentiis’ shows. She was making a super easy dessert that I decided to make for a baby shower at work. What You Need: -1 box brownie mix and mixing ingredients (egg, water, vegtable oil)  -1 bag white chocolate chips -1 small jar all natural strawberry jam What to Do: 1. Pour the jam into a small sauce pan and heat on low, stirring occasionally. You want the jam to become warm and pourable. 2. While the jam is heating up, mix the brownie mix according to the package and pour into a 9x13in.…
