    Easter Celebrations 2016

    Easter day this year was chilly and rainy but that didn’t stop the fun of eggs and baskets and lots of family time. The weekend before Easter we broke out the classic Paas kits and got to decorating. Jack also had a little party at school on Good Friday. Pottery Barn Easter Baskets were out and ready for the boys to rip through on Sunday morning before heading to church with my family. Both boys stayed upstairs during the service instead of going to Sunday School and did fairly well despite the pretty long service. After church my parents, sister and her family headed back to our house where we…

    St. Patty’s Day Round Up

    We don’t go crazy around here for St. Patrick’s day, but it’s fun to see what trouble that little leprechaun gets into at our house and make a few fun crafts or snacks. Here’s my favorite ideas from around the web and make sure to see all the things I’m loving on my Pinterest Page. What a fun little surprise for your neighbor. via A few years ago we tried making a shamrock stamp and it turned out to be a fun and easy activity. via These would be cute for the boys’ school or even coworkers. via And how adorable is this shamrock wreath from ETSY. I’m thinking I may…

    Weekend Recap {Valentine’s Day + President’s Day}

    Man it’s tough having to get back into our regular schedule after having a long weekend especially since our Valentine’s Day weekend was pretty darn perfect minus a few times I needed a slight time out from the kids. The kids both had parties at school and it doesn’t get much cuter than seeing little kids open all their valentines from friends. I was pretty proud of our homemade valentines this year, but let me tell you, some parents went all out. You can definitely tell it’s the age of Pinterest. Saturday night J and I watched No Escape before going out for a late (9:30pm) dinner at our favorite…

    Christmas Time Recap 2015

    Since I missed recaping almost all of our December happenings, I thought I’d do one big post about what we’ve been up to this month. I also Googled whether Christmas Time was in fact two words or one and in fact both are correct, so now you know. We started the month off by putting up the tree and getting all the decorations out. Jack’s school hosted a Breakfast with Santa with a pretty sad looking Santa I might add. And after breakfast we made these ornaments with our cousin. My pajama obsession continued on strong and I couldn’t resist these seals wearing hats. My work hosted a milk and cookies event…

    Merry Christmas!

    I know I’m a few days late but I just wanted to pop in and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and happy New Year. We made it back from Disney just in time for Santa to stop by our house and boy did he spoil all of us this year. I’m hoping to recap our Christmas before the New Year and of course I’ll post all about Disney in the upcoming weeks. Until then, here’s two of my favorite pictures from our trip-Christmas time at Disney was even more magical than I could have imagined. Outside our hotel room at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. Over 200,000 lights on Cinderella’s…
