Christmas Time Recap 2015

Since I missed recaping almost all of our December happenings, I thought I’d do one big post about what we’ve been up to this month. I also Googled whether Christmas Time was in fact two words or one and in fact both are correct, so now you know.

We started the month off by putting up the tree and getting all the decorations out.

Jack’s school hosted a Breakfast with Santa with a pretty sad looking Santa I might add.
And after breakfast we made these ornaments with our cousin.
My pajama obsession continued on strong and I couldn’t resist these seals wearing hats.
My work hosted a milk and cookies event with Santa and the cookies were a bigger hit than the Santa.
Every Christmas Jack’s school puts on a production of the Nutcracker and perform at a local theater. This year he was a Christmas tree and the cutest little dancing tree I’ve ever seen.
My work had an ugly sweater party and then some of us had a little too much fun at the after party. I have some beautiful co-workers by the way.
We visited the “real” Santa who Ben later said hurried him along and didn’t get to hear all of his list. Good thing Santa somehow knew and brought him everything he wanted anyway. And like last year, Jack was just not a fan.
We returned from Disney on Christmas Eve Eve and got to work making cookies for Santa. And Santa only since this two year old couldn’t stop licking the frosting.
Christmas Eve day we headed to my MIL’s for our first Christmas celebration. Unfortunately J had some sort of stomach-bug and cold so he left shortly after all the kids opened their presents.
Christmas Eve night we always go to J’s aunts house to spend time with Gigi (J’s grandma) and all the cousins.
Jack’s interactive Olaf was a huge hit with all the kids.
The kids were fast asleep by the time we got home so I set out the cookies and milk and got everything ready for in the morning.
Our elf Sparkle left this sweet note on his way out of town.

Still with me? Moving on to Christmas morning…Opening their letters from Santa.

Jack was not a happy camper when he found out that Sparkle would not be coming back. Mommy on the other hand wasn’t as sad.
Ben loved his Minecraft books that he begged for despite not having really ever played the game.
Jack on the other hand was underwhelmed about some his gifts. #yawn
I got J a hoverboard and he managed to wipe out outside 30 minutes after this picture. J spoiled me rotten this year with a new Tory Burch wallet, Apple Watch, and MacBook.
After getting ready it was lunch time and our last Christmas at my parent’s house with my sister and her family.
From our family to yours, we hope you had a very Merry Christmas!
