This past weekend I was in St. Louis for a co-worker/friend’s wedding. Joy was such a beautiful bride and she wore two different dresses which were both perfect. The wedding was at 2:00pm followed by dinner and a reception at the church. Later that night there was a second reception on the rooftop terrace of the hotel where everyone was staying. Although we had grand plans to party all night, we may or may not have been in bed by 10:00pm. I know. At least we were well rested to head home the next morning and I did surprisingly well for the first night away from Jack. Congratulations Joy!

DIY Wedding Card Keepsake Book
First, please excuse the horrible picture quality. I was all snuggled in on the couch with my materials laid out and didn’t want to get up and get the big camera. Or apparently turn on the light. Second, I made this with materials I already had on hand. Looking back I would have gotten some new scrapbook paper and stickers and made it a little prettier. Maybe one day. When J and I got married we got the sweetest cards with the most wonderful notes, blessings, and words of encouragement for our marriage. I wanted a way to keep all the cards together in one place and after browsing Pinterest, I came across this…

See Ya On The Flip Side
Welp, it’s my last post as a Ms. Today is the bridal luncheon for the ladies in the wedding party hosted by my mom and I at her house. Then it’s off to the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner and a good ole fashion sleep over with my besties in a hotel. Thank you all sooo much for your sweet emails, comments, and love towards J and I. See ya after the honeymoon! Ciao!

I’m really hoping the cleaning fairy will watch over the house after I clean it on Wednesday. People always tend to leave little crumbs or clothes scattered about right after I’ve cleaned. I desperately want to share all of the wedding details with you all, but I want them to be a surprise for our guests. That means lots and lots of wedding posts when we return from the honeymoon. And despite all the happy things, I’m sad…

Wedding Wednesday
65 days and counting….holy cow. I remember when it was 300 days and thinking it was so far away. People are always asking me if I’m nervous and my response is that I’m nervous for the wedding but definitely not the marriage. J and I have been together 5 years and with the little surprise that was Ben, we were forced into a marriage like relationship even though we aren’t technically married. The honeymoon phase in our relationship is long over. I know what kind of father J is. Our relationship is far from perfect, but we’re committed to each other and to our family and we’ve done that without…
