    Mother’s Day + Exciting News

    Happy May! I can’t believe this is the first time I’ve posted this month which happens to be flying by. I’d like to say that this Mother’s Day was the most wonderful day ever but honestly I’ve had better. The kids were acting crazy and there was little relaxation, but such is the life of mother and Mother’s Day is no exception. I did manage to snag one of my favorite pics of the boys but none of me and my mom or mil. oops. So before you all start wondering if another little fish is on the way, this is not that kind of news. I am happy to…

    Life + Mother’s Day Recap

    Happy Monday!  I want to start off by sharing that we closed on our house Friday and I couldn’t be happier to officially own this house. We move this upcoming Friday and are very excited to start making it our own. The home is practically brand new so we won’t be making any big changes right away but we definitely have a running list of things we’d like/need to do. And don’t worry, I plan on blogging along the way so stay tuned for lots of before and after pictures! Happy Mother’s Day

    I just wanted to pop in and wish all the moms out there a very happy Mother’s Day! It’s also important to remember those who are longing to become a mom as well as those whose mom are no longer with them. This day can be tough so take a moment to let other women know you’re thinking of them. We’re spending the day with both my mom and J’s mom and grandma.  source

    Mother’s Day

    This year was my last Mother’s Day as a mom to one and next year I’ll have two little boys to celebrate with. We went out to lunch with my family and I didn’t take a single photo. Fail. After making a quick stop at home where I received some thoughtful cards and beautiful flowers from J and Ben, we headed to J’s parent’s house where Ben got to try out their new trampoline. And by Ben I mean Ben and J. A trampoline is fun whether you’re 4 or 31. After visiting with J’s parents we headed over to his aunt’s house for dinner. The whether was perfect and…

    Mother’s Day {2011}

    Besides this present We also got to spend time with all the great mom’s in our lives. We spent Saturday visiting J’s side of the family. Lucky for me, maybe unlucky for him, J’s grandma busted out all his baby pictures. That hair! We also got to see our sweet niece who is getting so big. Ben was pretending to sleep and J’s aunt would rock him. It was precious. Sunday was the day. We told all our family and friends except for my parents who we were eating lunch with that afternoon. When we got to the restaurant I blatantly begin pointing to things on the menu and it…
