Halloween started with a party at Ben’s preschool. All of his little friends were adorable. After the school party it was off to J’s parent’s house. Ben’s cousins also came over and it was nothing short of amazing that we were able to capture a picture where everybody was looking. Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, and J’s brother. I love my niece’s face. She looks slightly frightened that Ben’s going to whack her with the sword. Only in small town do police stop and give out candy. One last flight of the evening.

Pumpkin Carving Fools
I can’t believe this is the last weekend before Halloween. This also means next weekend is already November. In preparation for fall and Halloween there has been a lot of pumpkin carving going on. First up was carving at my parent’s house where the kids weren’t too excited about having to touch the guts of the pumpkin. I wish I would have gotten a picture of my niece Hannah’s pumpkin. And for the first year ever, I was quite…

For the past 4 months this sucker has been sitting in my office just waiting for it’s day to be made over and that day just so happened to be at the end of February. I started by finding a picture of the letter I wanted to use Next, I free-handed the letter on to the pumpkin using a pencil to make the outline. You can also blow up the letter, print it out, and…

Halloween 2011
Oh Halloween. There’s not many things more adorable than kids dressed up in little costumes saying tick or treat. Our Halloween activities started last weekend at my sister’s house where the kids painted pumpkins while they watched my brother in law carve one. Love his little tongue. Over the weekend I also whipped up a bunch of Halloween treats for work, Ben’s school, and to take to my parent’s house on Halloween night. All of these recipes and ideas came from Pinterest. Halloween Popcorn Pretzel Ghosts Eyeballs Black Cat Cookies Mine didn’t look as great as the ones on Pinterest probably because I was in a rush and didn’t chill…
