A few weekends ago I attended a baby shower for my friend Melissa. We’ve been friends since middle school so it’s neat to celebrate all the big things in life together now. Her shower was an mustache theme and it turned out so cute! It was great seeing old friends from high school and getting to play around with hairy mustaches:) Sorry the pics are such low quality, the lightening in the room wasn’t the greatest. The momma to be and I.

DIY Burlap Banner
Want to know the great thing about baby showers? Besides the soon to be born baby and teeny tiny clothes baby showers also come with lots of projects and recipes. So without further adieu, here’s another one! Once again, Jennifer was my inspiration for this DIY banner. The best part was that I already had all the materials except for the ribbon so this cost me next to nothing to make! “Owl”dorable Cupcakes
Remember this post about the Owl themed baby shower I threw? Today I’ve got the tutorial so you can recreate these cute cupcakes whenever you want. What You Need: -1 package of Oreo cookies -1 bag of plain M&M’s -Box of chocolate cake mix -Can of chocolate icing What To Do: 1. Make the cupcakes according to the directions on the box and frost when cooled. 2. Un-twist the Oreo cookies. One side of the cookie should have icing on it, the other will be plain. 3. Baby Boy Owl Shower
Last weekend I threw a baby shower for my co-worker Megan. We had a great time chatting, eating, and celebrating Megan and Baby Ryan. My friend Alissa made the cutest and best tasting cake pops I’ve ever had. Aren’t they adorable? I made owl cupcakes as well and I’ll do a post on how to make them soon. I also made this super easy DIY burlap banner. Homemade white chocolate covered popcorn for party favors. This stuff was so good! Playing games. Present time! Now, whose next for a baby shower? Preferably one filled with pink, and ruffles, and all things girly!

Cute as a Button Baby Shower
One of my best friends and maid of honor is having a baby boy in February so we welcomed his soon to be arrival with a “Cute as a Button” baby shower. I went with a light blue chevron pattern and yellow for the colors. Love me some chevron! Since my mom is also close to Meghan and her family, she graciously offered to have the shower at her house. Even though it was her house, my OCD was in full bloom and I had to arrange and prep everything myself:) I just can’t help it. The mommy to be. The mom to be with her mom. I can’t wait…
