Like most of the world, we spent last night trying to see the supermoon lunar eclipse but sadly it was pretty cloudy here. We got to see the beginning of it and we did get about a minute break from the clouds during it, but other than that it was a whole lot of nothing. I managed to go the entire 3 day weekend and only cook once and it was this dip so not even an actual meal. Go me. Ben got 5/5 on his first spelling test of the year so we celebrated with ice cream on Friday night. Saturday we went to our neighborhood pool one last time and had the whole thing to ourselves most of the time. This weekend was lazily busy (busy, but in a good, non-time commitment sorta way) and one that I didn’t want to end. We’ve had unusually cool weather this time of year (60’s & 70’s) so it was only fitting to bust out a more fall like nail color. Of course today it’s back in the 90’s. I managed to get a lot of things done this weekend, but failed to snap any pictures of it. Bad blogger. I did the dreaded task of taking off the car seat covers and completely cleaning out every nook and cranny, but I have yet to put the covers back on. Why do they make those things so hard? My two year old took his diaper off and ran around the house dancing and singing Let It Go. It was pretty darn cute. Until he climbed up on the couch and pooped. And then somehow got it on his foot.
