As of 6:00 pm this evening the Elmo balloon is officially gone. RIP Elmo balloon. You had a short life, but you were well loved while you were here. It all happened when we took the balloon with us in the car to my parents house so Ben could show it to them. As we left, I willy nilly threw the balloon in the trunk(so that I could see while driving). Well, on the way home I decided to make a stop at good ole Walmart. Why did I need bananas and bread? What Happened to Never Again?
Remember how J and I decided we were going to take a break from eating at restaurants with Ben since he seems to want to do everything but sit in the high chair and eat? Welp that lasted about a week. J’s aunt was in town from Florida so all of J’s family went to dinner and despite our better judgment we went too. And to make us look like liars, Ben did fantastic. He sat in his chair, ate his food, and didn’t throw anything!

The Last Night
I wanted to give you all an update on Ben’s last night with his ba-ba. For Ben it was like every other night and although I told him the bottles were going bye bye, he’s 17 months so I’m not sure how much he understands. Tonight will be the true test on how it goes since it’s his first night without one. I let him pick out some cool new sippy cups at the store yesterday so hopefully that will help with the transition. Last night it just so happened to storm complete with thunder, lighting, wind and rain that sounded like there was a hurricane outside. My first thought was…
