One. Tomorrow I’m participating in a fundraiser for the Special Olympics called the Polar Plunge. If you couldn’t guess from the name, I’ll be jumping in a frozen lake (and going all the way under) with several of my co-workers and hundreds of other people who are risking frostbite in order to raise money for Special Olympic athletes. I can only hope to be this happy on the frozen lake. via Two. I got this adorable sweater for Christmas from my sister after she read about how much I wanted one on the blog. Of course J hates it but not just this particular sweater. He hates any outfit that…

Happy Friday! Let’s get to it. One. I stumbled across this blog a week or so ago and can’t stop thinking about Kilee’s hair. I love the style, ombre coloring, everything! It doesn’t hurt that she’s also so freakin cute. I want to get my hair cut like this and try the ombre look again, but probably a little more subtle. Two. I am loving colored skinny jeans on Jack. I ordered him a red pair from Baby Gap this week when they were having an additional 50% off sale items online. Three. My friend got Ben this Ninja Turtle bath towel for his birthday and it is so soft. If I…

This 5 on Friday is going to be a little different and is devoted all to Ben since he’s turning the big 5 on Wednesday. One. Ben’s birthday kicks off tomorrow with a Lego themed party. This is the first year that the party isn’t at our house and it is so nice to not have to deep clean the house, make a thousand Pinterest crafts, and make a bunch of food. His party is at a local gymnastics place that has a big foam pit, rock climbing wall, and of course all the typical gym equipment like a balance beam and bars. After playing, we’ll head to the party…

Wondering where I’ve been this week? Let’s take a look at number one shall we? One. The stomach flu hit our house hard on Sunday night. Thankfully the boys didn’t catch it, but J and I got it pretty bad, me worse than him. Being nauseous is horrible. I don’t know how patients going through chemo do it or you ladies who feel that way throughout your entire pregnancy. We were lucky that our parents took the boys not only so they wouldn’t catch it, but also because we were in no condition to be able to care for another human being. Let alone two. Here’s to never having that…

2 days late, but here we go! One. I came out to my car after a meeting downtown to find this delivery truck not only blocking me in, but an entire row of cars. After waiting for 10 minutes, a few of us got out of our cars and couldn’t find the driver anywhere so we decided to call the non-emergency police number. Of course the driver came back right in the middle of the call and was somehow surprised that we were all upset. Two. He makes me laugh. Every single day. Three. There’s not much better than cuddling with a sleeping baby. Four. I made this sausage quiche…
