    DIY Metallic Salt Dough Ornaments {That Actually Work}

    I can’t tell you how many Christmas’ I tried to make salt dough ornaments only to be left with crumbly dough or dough that just never got hard no matter how many hours in the oven I baked it, cough 7. So imagine my excitement when I came across this recipe for dough that actually worked. The older kids get, the harder it is to do handprint ornaments due to the size of their hands so I decided to do their fingerprints.     Two weeks until Christmas and less than 1 week until we leave for DISNEY WOLRD!!! As excited as I am, we have a lot to get done this weekend including making sure every.last.gift. is bought and wrapped, getting outfits ready for Santa, Disney, and Christmas day, visiting the big man in red, and decorating our gingerbread houses. Not to mention tonight is my work Christmas Party so hopefully it won’t be too much fun and I’ll be able to drag myself out of bed in the morning.     Thanksgiving 2015

    Our Thanksgiving was full of food and family, just the way we like it! The week of Thanksgiving Jack’s school had a feast complete with handmade hats and all. My mom is retired so she was able to join us for the lunch and Jack was so excited his Mimi was there. Jack’s top//Carters On Thanksgiving day we went over to my parent’s house for lunch along with my sister and her family.     Well it feels good to be back! I took some time off for Thanksgiving and then came all things Christmas-shopping, decorations, etc and it was hard to get back into the swing of blogging but here I am.
