    Weekend Recap

    via Anyone else asking themselves this same question? I know time always seems to fly but man, this Summer went by in the blink of an eye. Ben starts 2nd grade a week from tomorrow so we are making the most of what’s left of August and trying to get back into somewhat of a routine. The weekend started with Friday night happy hour with coworkers and me fast asleep by 9:30pm. I continued my obsession with Starbuck’s Strawberry Acai Refresher Saturday morning before hitting up my first estate sale. Has anyone else been to one of these? You basically walk through someone’s home and everything is for sale. Everything.…

    Does it Work? Pinterest Hack {Cleaning Dirty Baking Sheets}

    How many of you have pinned this? Maybe several variations of this? (Raises hand). After sitting on my board for far too long, I took the grimmest pan I could find and tested out this hack. A real, legit cave y’all. The boys were in heaven and I was trying not to have a heart attack as we walked through the dark in cold rushing water. //two// We went swimming at my husband’s aunt’s house last Sunday night and their dog Hunter absolutely loves the pool. Ben stuck a pool noodle up to the jets creating…

    4th of July ~2016~

    The fact that it rained almost our entire 4th of July weekend has me stalling to recap America’s birthday. We spent lots of time indoors but the weather seemed to cooperate a little more on the actual 4th although it was unseasonably chilly.  Per tradition, we headed to J’s aunt’s house where the kids swam and shot fireworks while the adults made sure no one poked each other in the eye with a sparkler. I’m happy to report that there were no injuries although Jack did wind up with slightly pink hair when a piece of colored parachute landed in his wet hair dying it the prettiest rose color for…
