Happy Friday! I am so ready and excited for this weekend! Not only is it a 3 day weekend, but as you’re reading this I’m off to Chicago for my friend Alissa’s bachelorette party. We plan to do all the tourist things, eat amazing deep dish pizza, and most importantly celebrate the bride to be.
One.
My friend Melissa, who just happens to be an amazing hairstylist, gave me a quick trim and some bangs. I know the word bangs makes some people freak out, but I actually think I look better with them. I grew mine out a couple of years ago, but got tired of always tucking them behind my ear. The angled bob I had had also grown out quite a bit so Melissa evened out the front length with the back.
Two.
We watched our nieces a couple of weekends ago and apparently things got a little too loud and wild for Jack. He grabbed his bottle and made his way under our side table for protection. I couldn’t stop laughing.
Three.
I still need to post about Mother’s Day, but it included this sweet little manicure from Ben. He did surprisingly well for a 5 year old who was painting with his left hand when he’s right handed 🙂
Four.
I won a $50 Boden gift card from Kilee over at One Little Momma. The gift card came in adorable wrapping with a little shopping list pad and some seeds to plant. What a great giveaway!
Five.
This is going to be my motto this weekend. Except for the dark alleys.
