I can’t believe Thanksgiving is almost here which means Winter.is.coming. It seems like every year the fall weather gets shorter and shorter and since I can either move or embrace the upcoming season, bring on the cold. Creating a bucket list always gets me excited and gives me something to look forward to so here’s what we plan to do this season.
Adopt a Family
Every year my work sponsors a family in need and we have the best time shopping for them.
Create Personal & Family Resolutions for 2020
We did this last year and had so much fun. We made vision boards that represented our resolutions, cut pictures out of magazines, and then hung them up in our respective closets.
Go Tubing/Sledding
We’ve got all the gear now we just need the snow.
Make Snow Pictures with Food Coloring
I saw this idea on Pinterest and meant to do it last Winter but we never got around to it.
Go Ice Skating
We live about 30 minutes from a rink so there’s no excuse not to go.
Try 2 New Soup Recipes
I’ve got SO many recipes pinned on my Pinterest board….now I just need to make some. If you have a soup recipe I need to try, let me know in the comments.
Attend the Holiday Parade of Homes
Getting to tour other people’s homes all decorated for the holidays? Yes please!
Drive Around in Pjs to Look at Lights
And maybe even grab some hot chocolate along the way.
See Wicked at the Theater
My sister and I got the kids tickets to see Wicked and we are so excited! The best part is they have no idea!
Try 2 New Workouts
I’ve gotten into a rut with working out and it only gets worse in the winter. Hopefully mixing it up and trying a few new activities will help me push through the slump.
Complete a 500 Piece Puzzle
I might be crazy, but this actually sounds like fun. Remind me of that when everyone is crying.
This list should keep us pretty busy and before we know it, spring will be here. Do you make a Winter Bucket list? What do you include?
