Before I get into the details of our weekend I want to take a moment and say how absolutely heartbreaking and terrifying the events in Paris have been. I visited Paris when I was 18 years old fresh out of high school and it lived up to all the wonder I thought it would be. Even with an extra hour, this was one of those weekends I just didn’t want to end. We had a great Halloween which started off with Jack’s school party Friday afternoon. I really could have used one extra day between Sunday and Monday. I got more done around the house this weekend than I have in the past 6 months since we’ve moved in. No joke. The weather on Friday and Saturday was cold and dreary which meant I got to breakout my rain boots for the first time since Summer. Like most of the world, we spent last night trying to see the supermoon lunar eclipse but sadly it was pretty cloudy here. We got to see the beginning of it and we did get about a minute break from the clouds during it, but other than that it was a whole lot of nothing.
