Soft & Fluffy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Now that I’ve got (and aren’t afraid of) my Kitchen Aide mixer, a whole new world of recipes has opened up including finding the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe.
If you like soft, fluffy cookies, then this recipe is for you. In full disclosure, these cookies were good, really good, but not my absolute favorite texture of a cookie. I like more dense cookies and these are well fluffy, hence the name. Lucky for you, I’m still on the hunt and plan to try out a couple other recipes which I’ll post as well and then we can have a cookie judging contest. By eating all.the.cookies.
What You’ll Need:
-2 1/4 cups flour
-1 tsp baking soda
-1 cup (2 sticks) salted butter-softened
-1/2 cup sugar
-3/4 cup packed brown sugar
-2 tsp vanilla
-2 eggs
-1 cup mini semi sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. While oven is preheating, mix dry ingredients in a medium bowl.
In a separate bowl combine butter, vanilla, and eggs. Once mixed, add both sugars.
Slowly add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix on low until combined.
Add chocolate chips.
Place heaping tablespoon of dough onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 9-12 minutes or until outside begins to brown slightly.
Cool & enjoy!
