This lady and I took a very important test. And celebrated with many a drink in hopes that we passed our boards.
Friday I used one of my many accumulating vacation days for a much needed shopping trip at the outlet malls. I picked up some fall and winter clothes for Ben, and a few new work pieces for me.
Ann Taylor and Loft had some incredible sales and these sweaters were only $20 a piece so naturally I bought one in red, deep green, and black.
I also picked up a few of these. The silk ruffles are hard to see in the picture but so pretty in person.
On Saturday we managed to squeeze in a quick ride on the Merry Go Round in between running errands.
And we finished the day with dinner at my parent’s house.
Sunday we all woke up feeling kinda blah. Ben had a little cold which he kindly passed to me when he sneezed right.in.my.mouth. After lots of laying around I met up with my friend and maid of honor Meghan to discuss upcoming showers. Baby for her, bridal for me.
That night we headed up to J’s parents and Ben absolutely loves it at their house. I think it has something to do with the acres of land where he can just run. Have you noticed kids are a lot like dogs?
I posted about these Cheesecake Stuffed Strawberries a while back and they were such a hit I made them to take with us. This time I doubled the recipe and made 2lbs.
Monday was of course Labor Day and we spent the day as a family, hanging out at the park, having a picnic, and enjoying a new frozen yogurt place in town.
If you have an Orange Leaf in your area you need to check it out.
Oh how I love 3 day weekends!
