5 on Friday

Well we finally made it to the end of the week. Did anyone else feel like this week just creeped by? Let’s get this weekend started with my 5 from the week.
One.
I’ve been obsessed with succulents lately and the fact that they are virtually kill proof is a bonus. I’ve already asked J to help me make a little planter box this weekend so stay tuned.

Two.
Ben’s school had a fundraiser at McDonalds and it was the first time I’d eaten inside an actual McDonalds in forever. Despite my better judgement, the kids got to play in the play place followed by a bath the minute they got home.
Three.
We’re having a girls night on Saturday and I’m in charge of bringing the Sangria. I have a recipe I’ve used in the past but does anyone have one that’s just amazing? Bonus points if it’s extra easy to make.

Four.

I have been working and praying about something for a while now and will hopefully be able to share the big news next week. Sorry for being so vague, but I don’t want to count those chickens before they hatch.

Five.
Did anyone else celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday this week? If you’re looking for a fun activity to do I made this super simple snack for Ben’s class.
What You Need:
-Box blue jello + water
-Box Sweedish fish
-Clear plastic cups
(serves 6)

What To Do:

Mix the jello according to the box. Pour the jello liquid into the plastic cup and add one Sweedish fish. Place the cups in the refrigerator to set. Once the jello begins to set slightly add another fish and continue to let jelly set until firm. Serve and enjoy!
