Ben was up bright and early on Easter morning ready to see what the Easter Bunny had brought him. We went to church to celebrate the real reason for Easter and then went over to my parent’s house for lunch and an indoor egg hunt since it was rainy. That afternoon we went to J’s parent’s house since the Easter bunny left a basket there as well. And then it was off to J’s aunt’s house with the rest of his family. You would think it was Christmas with all the goodies Ben got, including his first T-ball glove and bat! Cousins The most exciting part…the Egg Hunt! I hope…

Easter Activities
I love Easter. Jesus, Spring, Eggs, Bunnies, what’s not to love! Leading up to Sunday, we soaked in all things Easter. Normally we visit Santa and the Easter Bunny at our local mall, but this year we decided to go to Bass Pro instead. Not only did we see the Bunny, but there was also an egg hunt in the store. The wait for the Easter Bunny was about 30 minutes, but totally worth it. I mean, how cute is this picture?! Ben and I had to have a little discussion about how the Easter Bunny was not like Santa after he proceeded to tell it all the things he…

Christmas Recap 2013 {Part 3}
After a slow Christmas morning at our house, we went over to my parent’s house for lunch. This year instead of a traditional Christmas meal we all brought a few of our favorite appetizers and desserts. It was torture for the kids to have to wait for everyone to finish eating so we could open presents. That evening we went over to J’s parent’s house for one last celebration. Even though 5 different Christmas’ was a lot, we loved every single one of them. It’s so great to be with the ones you love during this time of year!

Christmas Recap 2013 {Part 2}
Christmas morning it was just our little family of 3 and the last one before baby #2 arrives. I can’t believe next Christmas we’ll have a 6 month old. Santa came and left Ben a note telling him how proud he was for all the good things he did this year. He also drank the milk and ate all the cookies we left out for him. This is one of my favorite pictures from Christmas. Ben was sooo excited to find out what was under that sheet. A new 4 wheeler! Although GiGi got him a motorcycle, we wanted to get him a big 4 wheeler to replace his little…

Christmas Recap 2013 {Part 1}
Our first celebration of the season was the Friday before Christmas at J’s grandparent’s house. We spent time with family, opened gifts, and celebrated J’s uncle’s birthday. New clothes! Christmas Eve we headed to J’s aunt’s house to celebrate with his dad’s side of the family. It was our first Christmas since J’s grandpa passed away and we missed him a lot. Giving Gigi hugs for all the presents. He was most excited about his new motorcycle. Once Ben saw his cousin’s 4-Wheeler being put together, he made dad assemble his. I love this picture. 3 grown men and a 3 year old working on the Jeep. All ready to…
