Happy Friday Friends! This week’s 5 is going to be a little different. Last night Ben graduated for preschool and it was the cutest thing ever. I may have cried several times. For today’s 5 on Friday I’m going to list my top 5 moments from the last 5 years with our little guy who is not so little anymore. In no particular order… Graduation. Ben did amazing throughout the entire ceremony! He smiled, sang, received his diploma, and even let me a take million photos afterwards without whining. I am so proud of him. And in case you need a cry, listen to the Bruno Mars song, 123. Then…

5 on Friday
Let’s get right to it. One. Chicago was a lot of fun and I could totally live there. The weather was beautiful the entire weekend which made the patio sitting and day drinking even more wonderful. Full recap to come next week. Two. This building was across the street from where we ate lunch one day. We tried to figure out what the building was and finally ended up asking our waiter. We were shocked by his answer. I’d love to know what you think it is? I’ll give you the answer in next week’s 5 on Friday. Three. Jack’s birthday is less than a month away and I have…

5 on Friday
Happy Friday! I am so ready and excited for this weekend! Not only is it a 3 day weekend, but as you’re reading this I’m off to Chicago for my friend Alissa’s bachelorette party. We plan to do all the tourist things, eat amazing deep dish pizza, and most importantly celebrate the bride to be. One. My friend Melissa, who just happens to be an amazing hairstylist, gave me a quick trim and some bangs. I know the word bangs makes some people freak out, but I actually think I look better with them. I grew mine out a couple of years ago, but got tired of always tucking them behind my…

5 on Friday
Linking up with the ladies for another 5 on Friday! One. Lately all I can think about is how I want to have long hair again. Like really really bad. (Then) (Now) Two. I try to avoid going to Walmart unless I have to so sometimes I miss out on cool things like this Huggies Clutch and Clean pouch. Unlike the hard refillable containers that always pop open on me causing the wipes to dry out, these zippered pouches stay shut and let you refill them by just unzipping the pouch and sticking new wipes in. And how cute are the designs?! Three. I made Iowa Girl Eats Strawberry Shortcake No Bake Treat…

5 on Friday
Sorry for the lack of posts this week! I’ve been out of town all week for work. I got home yesterday evening and I can’t tell you how happy I am to be home. The boys and J all welcomed me home with lots of love! One. This work trip marked the first time that I’ve been away from Jack for more than a day, the longest I’ve been away from J since we’ve been together, and the first time J had to watch both boys for an entire week by himself. I’m happy to report not only did everybody survive, but they seemed to have lots of fun and…
