    Chewy Cookie Butter Cookies

    These cookies make the perfect little snack thanks to their small size and then there’s the fact that they’re made with Biscoff Cookie Spread or cookie butter as we call it. Who doesn’t love this stuff? And they’re surprisingly not sickeningly sweet which means you could eat two or three.  What You’ll Need: -1/2 cup salted butter, room temperature -1/3 cup Biscoff Cookie Spread -3/4 cup brown sugar -1/2 cup granulated sugar -1 egg -1 tsp vanilla -1/2 tsp salt -1 tbsp cornstarch -1/2 tsp cinnamon -2 cups flour Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a mixer, combine butter, cookie spread, brown sugar, and granulated sugar mixing for approximately two…

    Weekend Recap

    Can I be honest? I didn’t have one ounce of patience left in me when I put the kids to bed last night. I was done. J finished up a big project for a client and was gone pretty much the whole weekend. Jack pretended to pee on his brothers head, Ben taught Jack to climb up the railing of our stairs, and they both loudly protested any kind of cleaning. And by cleaning I mean picking up their various pairs of underwear scattered around the house. But, the weekend wasn’t all bad, and in between moments of me loosing my sanity we managed to have fun and I actually…

    St. Patty’s Day Round Up

    We don’t go crazy around here for St. Patrick’s day, but it’s fun to see what trouble that little leprechaun gets into at our house and make a few fun crafts or snacks. Here’s my favorite ideas from around the web and make sure to see all the things I’m loving on my Pinterest Page. What a fun little surprise for your neighbor. via A few years ago we tried making a shamrock stamp and it turned out to be a fun and easy activity. via These would be cute for the boys’ school or even coworkers. via And how adorable is this shamrock wreath from ETSY. I’m thinking I may…

    Weekend Recap

    Despite trying my best to avoid getting my co-worker + Jack’s cold I sent this Snapchat last night after the sneezing, runny nose, and watery eyes were in full force. Hellllooo sexy. But let’s rewind to before the sickness and earlier this weekend which was actually pretty good. Saturday was the day of all days with temperatures reaching almost 80!  After a pretty sleepless night thanks to Jack’s coughing and ultimately “sleeping” in bed with me, we headed out to grab bagels for breakfast and then managed to spend the majority of the day outside. I cleaned and swept out the garage and J finally took down our Christmas lights.…

    Weekend Recap {Valentine’s Day + President’s Day}

    Man it’s tough having to get back into our regular schedule after having a long weekend especially since our Valentine’s Day weekend was pretty darn perfect minus a few times I needed a slight time out from the kids. The kids both had parties at school and it doesn’t get much cuter than seeing little kids open all their valentines from friends. I was pretty proud of our homemade valentines this year, but let me tell you, some parents went all out. You can definitely tell it’s the age of Pinterest. Saturday night J and I watched No Escape before going out for a late (9:30pm) dinner at our favorite…
