I’m a week behind getting this posted, so I’m actually 16 weeks today! I hope to get a picture and the 16 week update on the blog tomorrow. Size of the baby: 4 inches. The size of an apple Total weight gain: Not sure. Our scale at home quit working, but I’ll know at my doctor’s apt next week. Maternity clothes: Pants, but mostly regular tops. Some maternity tops for the length. Sleep: Pretty good still. Gender: It’s a BOY!!! Movement: I felt a few flutters around the beginning of 14 weeks. Food cravings/aversions: Craving-fruit, salads with walnuts and Feta(although I can’t eat it) Aversions-nothing I can think of this week. What I…

Hello 2013!

Our little man turned 3, several of our friends welcomed their sweet babies into the world, we got married and celebrated all the fun festivities that came with it, spent 10 wonderful days in Rome, and we took Ben to see his favorite characters at Disney World. We also said goodbye to J’s grandpa but kept his memory alive during this holiday season. And on top of all of that, there’s all the little moments that were captured on this blog. I’m ready…

Downtown Holiday Parade
A few weeks ago our town held it’s annual holiday parade. Unlike the Memorial Day parade, this one consisted of people throwing candy and it didn’t take long for Ben to catch one. Besides the candy, this parade was extra special since my sister, niece, and brother and in law were in it! Ben thought it was so cool that he knew someone in the parade. My sister and her family. I can’t believe Christmas is 2 days away! The anticipation is killing me!

Baby Number Two & 13 Week Bump Update
A lot of you already know or have guessed by now but just in case you missed it… Baby Number 2 will be making it’s debut June 2013! 8 Week Ultrasound 13 Weeks and already sucking it’s thumb! I love this little peanut so much already! I didn’t really do weekly belly shots with Ben and it’s amazing to me how much the stomach can grow. A Visit With Santa
Santa hasn’t always been Ben’s favorite person, but this year’s pictures with Santa are precious. And since I’m nostalgic… 2011. The only way I could get him close to Santa was to have him sit on this stool. At least he wasn’t crying. 2010. I think every parent needs at least one crying Santa picture. 2009. First Christmas, still fascinated, and not old enough to be scared.
