1st Annual Cookie Exchange
Sunday afternoon my friend Alissa hosted a cookie exchange complete with lots of cookies and since kids were invited, she also had lots of things for them to do including making candy reindeer, decorating cookies, and Santa coloring books. It was so thoughtful for her to think of these things and as I parent I super appreciate it. Rubber Ducky Bath
My friend Jamie got me this duck bath tub at one of my baby showers and after another night of Jack splashing half the water out of his little blue baby tub, I knew it was time to bust out the duck. I was a little sad to put the baby tub away but he though the duck was the best! Such a big guy.

Branson’s Cancelled.
Due to massive amounts of snow in Branson, our plans for a holiday weekend getaway were changed at the last minute. And literally the last minute as we were already on the road. Although we got hardly any snow in the central part of the state, the Ozarks ended up getting 12 inches so we made the right decision even though we were disappointed. With the car already packed, Memaw, Pampaw, and my sister’s entire family in tow, we decided to head to snowless Kansas City instead. Happy Friday!! He’s my 5 things from this week. One. Ben set out the nativity scene all by himself this year and he did pretty good getting everything in the correct place. The only hiccup was that he wanted to put baby Jesus on the roof. Two. I finally started buying a few Christmas presents but I just can’t seem to find the motivation to wrap them. Three.
