Sorry for the lack of posts this week! I’ve been out of town all week for work. I got home yesterday evening and I can’t tell you how happy I am to be home. The boys and J all welcomed me home with lots of love!
One.
This work trip marked the first time that I’ve been away from Jack for more than a day, the longest I’ve been away from J since we’ve been together, and the first time J had to watch both boys for an entire week by himself. I’m happy to report not only did everybody survive, but they seemed to have lots of fun and J didn’t run out of the house screaming as soon as I got back. He even cleaned the house, did some laundry, and took out the trash on trash day.
Two.
My Type A personality really came in handy this week. Before I left I laid out all of the kids’ outfits for the week, packed all of Jack’s food for the babysitter, and I left several notes and reminders.
Three.
One night of the trip our company took us all to Dave & Busters.
Four.
This was the lobby of our corporate office in St. Louis. where the training was held. I’m going to need one of these in my office asap.
Five.
Did I mention how glad I was to see these two?

That's really sweet of Jack. I guess he wanted you to rest up as soon as you got home, which is why he decided to do all the chores and clean the house. I'm glad the kids had fun with him while you were away, but I bet they missed you lots as well. Anyway, it's good that you can finally go back to blogging and enjoy some quality time with your family. I hope the trip for work went well. Take care!
