Thanksgiving Recap 2014

We had a great Thanksgiving spent with family and lots of food. We even managed to get some things done around the house, in my pajamas of course.
On Thursday we ate lunch at my parent’s house and then dinner at J’s aunt’s house.
Raiding the fridge before lunch. He just couldn’t make it 5 more minutes until the food was ready.
We hit up the grocery store on Friday morning and the boys shared the car cart for the first time. Jack LOVED it and kept saying, “beep, beep,” as they drove through the store.
That night we got all the Christmas decorations out and put the tree up. Don’t mind our leaning star.
Ben was SO excited when I pulled out the Christmas pillows. Apparently they were super comfy  because he was asleep before I knew it.
Saturday was filled with more lounging, laundry, and little superheros.
Saturday afternoon we had family photos taken and I got a sneak peek of some of the pictures. We used a new photographer and she was amazing! And not that it’s a big deal at all, but you can’t even see Jack’s biopsy scar in the photos.
To reward all their smiling, we took the boys for ice cream afterwards. They were really over any more pictures at this point.
On Sunday we went to church, ate lunch with my parents, and then went to dinner with J’s parents where Jack managed to eat food from almost everyone’s plate.
After the kids went to bed I made some red velvet crinkle cookies and stuffed my socks for my work’s Christmas party. Bring on the holiday season!
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
