Well I officially vlogged my weekend. And it ain’t easy to do. All you vloggers out there make it look so much easier than it actually is so kudos to you. I’m hoping to edit the video and then post in on Wednesday so make sure you tune in for that.
Our weekend started off with a visit to see my best friend who was in town. Her parents live two minutes from us and the kids always love going over there. As usual, Ben was completely smitten with baby Callen and my heart just about burst watching them interact. My kids are also obsessed with Meghan’s husband who always wrestles and tosses them around.
If you saw my Instastory you know I tried out two new lipsticks from the dollar store of all places and ended up loving them. The color below is LA Colors in Mauve Glaze. I’ve never worn lipstick much and I don’t know why because I love the way it can complete an outfit. I’m especially loving more matte colors instead of glossy.
Saturday morning we headed to an event at our local Hyvee grocery store. This is our 2nd time at Pancakes and Pajamas and you can’t go wrong with either of those two things.
The rest of the day was spent running errands at Target and Sam’s. I did a face mask later that evening and as I was peeling it off Jack freaked the f out. It was sad but also hilarious and the first thing he did when he woke up this morning was ask me about my face 🙂
My husband worked on a huge project for work this weekend so on Sunday my dad took Ben to see the Lego Batman movie. Jack and I went to lunch with my mom and then did a little shopping at an antique store. It had been forever since we did something fun like that and it was nice to just spend time together. I found a large mason jar for our sofa table and a fish that I already hung in our guest bathroom.
Know if I just need another day off to clean all the bathrooms I didn’t get to.
