I was determined to make our 3 day weekend productive and I’m proud to say I did just that.
This weekend we had crazy weather with sleet and snow as well as temperatures in the 50’s. If you would have told me Friday we would play outside all 3 days this weekend I wouldn’t have believed you considering this was my view on Friday morning.
Saturday was our usual weekly grocery shopping. This is just one of the many reasons why I love our local grocery store. How old does Jack have to be before he disqualifies me from the “new mothers” category?
Later that afternoon, J and Jack had some quality time together while I took Ben to see The Nut Job. The movie was cute and Ben is finally at the age where he can sit through an entire movie and not want to get up or want to leave.
This gaggle stopped traffic on the way to the theater and almost made us late.
Beside groceries and the movie, I also spent a better part of Saturday organizing the house including Ben’s room, the laundry room, and organizing one of our smaller pantries.
Sunday was church, lunch, and hanging around the house followed by a trip on Monday to drop off some donations, pick up a few outfits for the boys from the mall, and lots of play time with new toys that were still unopened from Christmas.
