I can’t believe it’s May and that we close on our new house in 5 days! If you’re thinking about it, could you please say a little prayer that all goes smoothly and in the next 5 days all hell doesn’t break loose? Once everything’s official and we have the keys in our hands I’ll fill you in with the details on what’s been going on throughout this process.
I’ve been rocking these Nike’s that I found at our local neighborhood garage sale for $3. The lady who sold them wore them twice. This is the first pair of shoes I’ve ever bought at a garage sale for myself. Although I’m no Kilee when it comes to thrifting, I’m pretty proud of these. As with all thrifted/used items, just give everything a good cleaning in the washing machine before you wear it.
After a long Friday, Chipotle was a no-brainer for dinner.
I also worked on end of the year teacher gifts for Ben’s school. Although I’ve loved serving on the PTO, I’ll be glad when school’s over.
Saturday afternoon I attended this lovely lady’s wedding. If I had one word to sum up the day, it would be details, details, details. Rachel looked beautiful, but I’ll wait to post a pic until she does. In the meantime, I wore my new striped skirt from old navy.
One thing I love about weddings is that it’s a good excuse to get everyone together. I got to hang out with girlfriends that I haven’t seen in forever especially since one of them lives in Norway. No matter how long it’s been, it’s so nice to be with friends who just get ya. After the wedding we headed to one of our old favorite college hangout spots and caught up over some drinks before the reception.
All the way from Norway…
My friends Sarah and Ali are identical twins. And yes, I can tell them apart. Very easily actually.
After such a late night, Sunday morning was a little rough 🙂 At least these cinnamon rolls made for an easy breakfast. Have you all tried these Rhodes frozen ones? They are WAY better than the Pillsbury kind.
While J and Ben went to see the new Avengers movie, Jack crashed hard on the couch and woke up with this awesome bead head.
I wrapped up the weekend by finishing the last of my gifts for the kids’ teachers and working on a little anniversary present for J which I’ll share after our anniversary which happens to be tomorrow.
(all these printables were free and found on Pintrest)
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Linking up with Biana for Weekending.

Chipotle was one of the few foods I couldn't eat while I was pregnant because just the thought of it made me nauseous. I'm so glad that didn't last, it's way too good:)
