This weekend was one of those weekends that I want to bottle up and freeze in time. It was the perfect amount of relaxation and productivity not to mention it snowed just enough to coat everything in a thin blanket of white. My work got tickets to the MU Basketball game on Friday night so we cheered on the Tigers and Ben ended up falling asleep once things started going downhill. We’re enjoying a 70 degree day here but 30 degree weather is supposed to roll through this week and I just don’t know if I’m ready. I saw that parts of Minnesota are supposed to get 16 inches of snow this weekend.  Friday afternoon I went to the mall to find a dress for a wedding we attend Saturday night. Well…this weekend didn’t end up going quite as we planned, but we made the best of it and managed to enjoy the almost 90 degree weather. Only in the midwest can it be 50 degrees one day and 90 the next.  Friday night my in-laws wanted to keep the boys so J and I did what every other young crazy couple does on a Friday night; we got in our pjs, ate Chipotle on the couch, and rented The Purge Anarchy. This weekend was full of all things fall. Friday night Ben and I helped set up for his fall festival at school which took place on Saturday morning. The weather ended up being beautiful and there was a great turn out at the festival. I wore my new earrings from my friend Alissa. Ben did pillow jousting with a fellow school mate. Another Monday is here and it seems like Sunday didn’t even happen. I know every weekend seems to fly by, but yesterday was over in the blink of an eye. My weekend started on Friday since I took the day off work and headed to St. Louis to do a little shopping for some of the things I mentioned here. I got a few goodies from Forever 21 including that gorgeous plaid scarf.  We don’t have a California Pizza kitchen in our town and I am obsessed with their Thai Chicken pizza.
