The Bachelorette Hits Chicago {Places, Food, & Reviews)

Today I’m telling you all about where we stayed, what we ate, and what we thought about it all. To see pictures of people not just our food, check out this post from earlier. Let’s start with our hotel. We stayed at the Omni on Michigan Ave in a double bed suite. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re going with a larger group. Anyone who knows me knows that I love Chicago. After all, I almost moved there 5 years ago right before we found out baby Ben was on the way.  So imagine my excitement when my friend Alissa said that she wanted to go to Chicago for her bachelorette party. We shopped and laughed and shopped some more. Did I mention there was laughing? Lots and lots of laughing. It’s amazing what time with good friends can do for a person. I also got some amazing gifts. I’m so glad I won’t have to wear my pajama pants with the hole in the butt on my wedding night. What would I do without these girls? My friend Molly couldn’t make it to my shower a few weekends…

    Hello 2am. It’s Been a While

This past weekend the wonderful Mrs. Bojangles and I packed up and headed to St. Louis for our friend Adi’s bachelorette party. We had so much fun and it was the first time in a long time all of us had been out together without the guys around. It’s always nice to catch up and have some girl time, ya know. Adi had lots of friends and family come to celebrate. We stayed at the Ameristar Casino, Resort, and Spa and the place was fabulous! I was little skeptical since typically the words casino and spa don’t go together very well, but the place was gorgeous and enormous. via via via via We…
