My good friend, Mrs. Bojangles got me a bottle of Skinnygirl Margarita and some beautiful margarita glasses for my wedding shower. I was so excited to get home, chill the bottle, and drink up.
Don’t get me wrong, I love me some Bethany Frankel. Are there times when she can be overly annoying? Yes. But ya gotta give it to the girl to air her life on t.v. especially the fights with her husband.
When I heard she sold her Skinnygirl brand of drinks to Jim Beam for upwards of 50 million dollars I thought this shiz has to be good. So needless to say I was more than disappointed that I couldn’t even make it through a glass. J on the other hand drank half the bottle, from the bottle. So there’s that.
I’m not sure if it’s the lack of sugar or something else, but it just tastes funky. I wanted to like it, but the hype of the drink far outweighed the taste.
I’m hoping some of her other drinks will be better. I want to try the Sangria and the White Cranberry Cosmo.
Have you tried any of the Skinnygirl cocktails. Do you like them? Which one is your favorite?

I personally liked the Skinnygirl Margarita, but I also don't like drinks that are too sweet, so that might have been why. I haven't tried the others but the white cranberry cosmo sounds pretty good!
