Happy Tuesday! First of all, I want to say THANK YOU for all of your sweet comments and messages about the new blog design and layout. Switching platforms is not easy and it can be very tedious and time consuming, especially when you’re a little Type A 🙂 That being said, I love the new look and how much easier it is for you as a reader to search topics and access previous posts. I’m still making a few tweaks here and there so please be patient if something is wonky or a link doesn’t work.

Designer vs. Dupe: Winter Staples
Although Winter isn’t my favorite season, I do love a good sweater, pair of booties, and ultra soft leggings. Each year I try to add a few staple pieces to my wardrobe without spending a ton of money. With places like Target, Old Navy, and Amazon killing it in the dupe department, there’s no reason to drop a lot of cash on expensive designer items so I’ve rounded up my 5 favorite designer vs. dupe pieces for Winter 2019.

Happy Friday! The first 5 day work and school week after the holidays is no joke. I thought Friday would never come and I am more than ready for the weekend. Let’s get right to 5 on Friday! One. Speaking of the weekend, we are supposed to get snow! And lots of it. The latest update says 7-9 inches and with nothing to do and no where to be, we are ready for it. Two. Weekend Recap
Happy Monday! We had one of the best weekends and part of that had to do with 60 degree temperatures and sunshine all day on Saturday. Warm weather and the sun is so good for the soul. We spent as much time outside as possible, walking around and exploring our downtown. The first stop was lunch at our favorite brewery followed by a visit to the cutest bookstore. This book made me laugh especially the sticker that says, “Pull-out poster inside.” We popped in and out of a few other stores and I fell in love with the look of these mini cacti in various cups and bowls.
