How come it always seems like the weekend goes so fast? This weekend was filled with fun, family, and even a little bit of productivity. Friday was a gorgeous day and at 5:30 it was still 70 degrees so what else were we to do but take little stroll around the neighborhood. Normally we eat dinner as a family and then it’s bath and bed for Ben and let’s be honest some nights mama goes to bed at 8:00 too. We’re No Brian or Kristy
Boitano and Yamaguchi that is. But that doesn’t mean we didn’t have a lot of fun on the ice. J and I decided to go on a little ice skating date and while it had been forever since either one of us had skated, we got the hang of it pretty quickly. J managed not to fall at all and I only took a little spill while trying to exit off the ice. We had so much fun and definitely plan on going back. After skating we picked up dinner from one of our favorite bbq restaurants and watched The Town which we both really liked.

Hello 2am. It’s Been a While
This past weekend the wonderful Mrs. Bojangles and I packed up and headed to St. Louis for our friend Adi’s bachelorette party. We had so much fun and it was the first time in a long time all of us had been out together without the guys around. It’s always nice to catch up and have some girl time, ya know. Adi had lots of friends and family come to celebrate. We stayed at the Ameristar Casino, Resort, and Spa and the place was fabulous! I was little skeptical since typically the words casino and spa don’t go together very well, but the place was gorgeous and enormous. via via via via We…

No Throwing Snow in the House
Since Ben hasn’t been feeling well we didn’t take him out in the newly fallen snow and instead J decided to bring the snow inside to him. Right after this, I saw a snowball whiz past my face.

Weekend Recap

From the previews, Dinner for Schmucks looked pretty cheesy and lame but it turned out to be hilarious. Sunday we went to church and that evening we went to J’s cousin’s house to celebrate December and January birthdays. J’s cousin just moved into a new house and they have a really great play room. Can you tell they have two girls? And last but not least, thanks to this guy I have tomorrow…
