    5 on Friday

One last 5 on Friday before Christmas. I don’t even know how that’s possible. One. I participated in a Christmas Blog Swap and received this ADORABLE scarf. You can read all about my experience here. Two. Speaking of gifts, we had a Secret Santa exchange at work this week and I hit the jackpot. My friend Julie definitely went above and beyond the daily spending limit with these pillows as my big “reveal” gift on Friday. You all know how obsessed I am with this fair isle print so you can imagine my excitement when I saw these! Three. I promise this is the last picture of gifts, but I just…

One. I love this coat by Michael Kors and it’s on sale right now at Nordstrom. I wish they had it in the puffier version because it doesn’t look like it would be very warm in the 0 degree weather we’ve been having. Via Two. Jack began rolling over from his front to back right before he was 3 months old and he officially mastered rolling back to front on Thanksgiving day.  Ever since then anytime we lay him down on his back he flips right on over then gets mad and cries. He started sleeping on his side in his crib and is now doing this fun little game…

    5 on Friday

Happy Friday!! He’s my 5 things from this week.  One. Ben set out the nativity scene all by himself this year and he did pretty good getting everything in the correct place. The only hiccup was that he wanted to put baby Jesus on the roof. Two. I finally started buying a few Christmas presents but I just can’t seem to find the motivation to wrap them. Three. I am OBESSED with this print. I don’t know what it is about it, but I LOVE it! I think Target has some wrapping paper in a similar pattern that I will be buying. Gap only has a 5t left in these…

    5 on Friday

This Friday is going to be a little bit of a different post. Instead of the usual 5 on Friday, I’m posting 5 pictures that will help you get to know me more.  One. I love love love to travel. New York is one of my favorite cities and I’ve been there a handful of times, the last trip being when J and I went in 2010. Other favorite places I’ve traveled include San Francisco and Italy. Two. This kid has a BIG personality. Just like his momma 🙂 Three. It’s strange but also amazing to experience all of life’s stages with your best friend. It doesn’t seem like we…

    5 on Friday

One. All you southerners get ready to forgive me. I went to a luncheon for work yesterday and they served girts. I’ve seen all the delicious looking grit pictures you all post so I had high hopes that these would be delicious. My friend Staci summed it up best when she said it tasted like baby cereal. I’m hoping these “cheese” grits were in fact just missing the cheese because they were terrible. Two. This is Jack’s, “Who said you could hold me?” look. Three. Tuesday night we took dinner to our friends who just had twins. They are so tiny and precious. It’s amazing how much of a difference…
