    Happy Grandparent’s Day!

Happy Grandparent’s Day to all the grandmas, grandpas, memaws, pampas, grannies, grampy’s, pa’s, ma’s and whatever else little ones may call you. My boys are so lucky to have such wonderful grandparents and great grandparents. All of my grandparents have passed away and J lost his grandfather two years ago. We miss them all and wish they could be here with us. Since J’s parents live out of town we called them to tell them how much we love them and we took my parent’s out to lunch. We ate outside and the weather was beautiful! I had the kids make this little craft and we mailed one to J’s…

    September Goals + Resolutions Update

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but it actually feels like September outside. The high is 70 degrees and the low is supposed to be 50! Considering we’re usually sweating well into October, I’m loving the cooler temperatures. I’m a little burnt out on the season by season bucket lists. Anyone else feeling me? I made a Summer bucket list, but didn’t really stick to it even though we did so many things this Summer. Easy Cheesy Sausage Quiche

It was Ben’s first MLB game and the Cardinals finally pulled off a win after going into an extra inning. We live about 2 hours from the stadium and didn’t get home until 1:00am. Jon Hamm is originally from St. Louis and he threw the opening pitch. How is he so ruggedly handsome? While we were at the stadium I posted a picture of us at the game on my Facebook. My friend Adi saw it and texted me that she was at the game too. It was a nice…

    Gulf Shores, Alabama: Part III

As if dolphins and gators weren’t enough, J and Ben managed to catch this ugly little crab while digging their giant hole. Ben named him Mr. Crabby Pants but we had to quickly let him go after Jack tried to yank off one of his legs. He didn’t understand that you have to wait to do that after it’s cooked and dipped in butter 🙂 One night we separated from the rest of the group to have some family time just the 4 of us. As great as it was having my entire family around, it was also nice to spend some time just the four of us. We ate…
