Happy Monday and first day of fall! Fall is the gateway to the best time of year. Our weekend started great, got a little rocky, but we still managed to end on a pretty good note. Friday night Ben had a T-ball game and then his cousin spent the night with us. The kids woke up early on Saturday morning ready to do all the activities I had foolishly told them about ahead of time. Next time I’m telling them 30 seconds before we do something. These Are My Confessions
I confess that… Sometimes on the weekends the kids and I only eat breakfast or lunch. Rarely do we have both unless we go out to eat. Even though I love fall, I hate the taste of pumpkin flavored everything. But I do love the smell. 72 degrees is the perfect temperature to be outside. Creamy Kickin’ Ranch Dip
This weekend was our work picnic at a local park. Everyone was asked to bring a dish which is usually not a big deal except that we were also going to a 1st birthday party right before the picnic which meant anything hot was off the list since I had no way to keep it warm. After searching Pinterest, I found several cold dip recipes and adapted a few of them to create this Creamy Kickin’ Ranch Dip. Friday Favorites
Fall has arrived in Missouri, at least for now. With highs in the 60’s and lows in the 40’s it definitely puts me in a fall mood. I also love that we can turn off the air conditioner, open the windows, and there’s the tiniest bit of a chill. One. Favorite fall nail color.
