    Weekend in St. Louis

At the end of April we headed to St. Louis for a long weekend and to participate in a Bubble Run. Unfortunately the day of the run was cold, windy, and rainy and although they still had the race, we opted out and filled our time with other things around the city. Although we’ve been to St. Louis tons of times, there’s always something new to do with each visit. J had to work so my parents, sister and her family packed up and headed off Friday morning with our first stop at the Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company. I came across this place on Trip Advisor and while the tour isn’t very…

    Weekend Recap

Another great weekend is in the books. I’m on a mission to make this Summer full of fun and memories and that’s just what we’re doing. We kicked off the weekend with a trip to a farm to pick strawberries and blueberries. Ben was on the hunt for the perfect strawberries and all Jack really cared about was eating them. I’ll do a full post later this week because fresh fruit makes for the most perfect pictures. After berry picking we dined al fresco at our favorite brewery. After we all slept in until almost 8:30 (what!) we hit up the farmers market and then Target for our weekly grocery…

    Memorial Day Weekend 2016

If only all weekends could be this great. And to think of it…minus the extra day, why don’t we make all weekends feel like a holiday weekend? Our weekend started off on Friday night with Ben’s baseball game in which it started pouring five minutes into the game. Saturday was the usual grocery shopping and cleaning and I picked up this flag from Target and put it on our mailbox and I’m loving it. Saturday afternoon I grabbed a margarita with my friend Alissa on a patio and then the night got crazy when I fell asleep at 8:30. We spent the entire day Sunday with J’s mom, brother and…

    Triple Berry Popsicles

If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve heard me talk about Kathryn from Do It On a Dime several times. I’m obsessed. Kathryn raved about The Dollar Tree’s popsicle molds and since my boys can go through an entire box of popsicles in one sitting I thought I’d try them out along with a new recipe. These Triple Berry Popsicles are not only delicious and COLORFUL, but the molds are awesome especially for a $1. The best part is they have a straw built into the base so as the popsicle starts to melt you can drink the juice. Genius!  What You’ll Need: -Popsicle Molds -1 quart Blackberries, washed -1/2 cup Raspberry…
