Just Call Us The Waltons
Well maybe not quite, but the fact that our little plants are growing and I’m cooking from the Pioneer Women’s recipes that has to count for something right? I posted here about the start of our little seeds and I’m happy to report that we didn’t kill them. Yet. Once they started to sprout we knew we needed to transfer them to the ground but with our bunny friend always hanging around we didn’t think the plants would make it without being eaten. And our hard work was not about to become that bunny’s dinner. Who wants to come over for peppers, tomatoes, and some broccoli?

Weekend Recap
Friday night J and I got to steal some time away and go to dinner and a movie with our friends. It was their turn to pick the flick and they chose a great one. I hadn’t seen previews for Super 8 and went in not knowing what to expect. The kids in the movie were awesome and I liked that it wasn’t your typical sci-fi alien film. I had to work for a few hours on Saturday morning at an art for autism event where children with autism and their siblings create all different kinds of artwork which are auctioned off at a gallery later in the year. A Weekend Outdoors
This weekend was full of family and fun outdoors. We started off the weekend with a picnic at the park on Friday night with my sister and her family. Don’t let the word night fool you into thinking that the temperatures might have cooled down. It was still a sweltering 90+ degrees hence the reason why I do not make an appearance in any of the pictures from this weekend.
