This year has been challenging and amazing all in one. I can’t wait to see what the next year has in store and I hope it’s filled with just as many good times, new memories, and lots of love.

Gone Fishing
This weekend was a good mix of productivity and relaxation. Well as much as you can do of both with a 4 year old and 3 month old. Saturday I planned on getting out all my fall decorations but it rained the entire day. J’s mom and niece ended up coming over for lunch and to hang out for the afternoon. Sunday was beautiful so we took full advantage of the gorgeous weather and went fishing. My sister’s friend lives on a huge farm with a lake full of fish just waiting to be caught. This week has been super busy so this is coming to you one day late. One. This week marked the end of my second week back at work. On my first day back I found these waiting at my desk from my sweet friend/co-worker Alissa. Two. One benefit of traveling all over the state for work? Imo’s Pizza! Our town doesn’t have one anymore but thankfully they are scattered all over the St. Louis area. The best part is they have mini personal pizzas offered at lunch time. Jack: 3 Month Update
Jack, you have been with us an entire 3 months. You are most definitely growing. I used to be able to hold you with one arm, no problem at all, but it’s becoming more of a challenge as you chunk up. We are so thankful you are getting bigger especially since at your 2 month Well Child Check you hadn’t gained much weight. You were in the 50% for height but only 10% for weight (10.4lbs). Long story short, after a couple of meetings with the lactation consultant and breastfeeding for a solid 3 months, you now take formula 100% of the time and are doing so much better and gaining weight!…

Weekend Edition! Since today is the last day before the weekend, I figured I’d better update you and recap what we did LAST weekend. One. Friday night Ben and I attended our first, and the last of the season, movie in the park. Jack stayed home with J so it was just Ben and I.
