    $10 DIY Spooky Halloween Mantel

I don’t know if it’s quarantine and Covid or if I’ve just fully embraced the holiday, but this is the first year I’ve decorated for Halloween. We’ve always had pumpkins and the occasional fake spider, but this year I felt inspired to go spooky and even embrace skeletons to create this super easy mantel. And the best part is, it doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg 🙂

    Fall Bucket List 2020

Is it even fall if you don’t make a fall bucket list? We did so well on our Summer Bucket List that I’m hoping we’re just as successful with our fall one. Bring on the cool weather and all the pumpkins!

    Summer Bucket List Update

I can’t even believe I’m typing this but for the first time ever we got to everything on our Summer Bucket List. I’m guessing it had something to do with the fact that we’re in a global pandemic and our weekends were wide open. Here’s everything we did!

    Friday Favorites

Happy Friday! I hope you’ve had a great week and if your child started school this week (in whatever shape or form) I hope it’s going well. Our district will hopefully go back with a hybrid option after Labor Day. The boys will go in person Monday and Tuesday and then have virtual school Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. I’m still not sure how it’s all going to go, especially with both J and I working full time but we’ll make it work. Or it will be a complete dumpster fire 🙂

Explore Your State | Long Branch Beach

Living in Missouri when I say “beach” I mean a lake beach, but I’ll take what I can get. Long Branch Beach is part of Long Branch State Park and located a few miles outside Macon, Missouri. We only visited for the day, but there are plenty of things to do if you want to stay longer. The park has boat access, fishing, trails, and campgrounds. You can also rent kayaks, paddle boards, tubes, and knee boards.
