Can you believe it’s been over a month since I got my rock and I have yet to do a post about the big day? So, let’s see what I’ve accomplished so far.
-we’ve set a date, May 5, 2012
-booked the church
-booked the reception venue (cocktail hour followed by dinner)
-decided on our honeymoon destination, hello Italy
-celebrated our engagement with a little luau party
-sent out these little numbers to my bridal party
Although I still have lots left to do, I think the fact that I still have 11 months to get everything together is keeping me from panicking.

We had people "make a wish and take a wish" – we had pre-printed wishes for guests to take, but the best was the wishes they left us. A fun thing I've seen for guests is a photo booth or prop stage for guests to take their picture with silly things – I think that'd be fun! I don't know what your theme is, but if turns out to be wine, I have lots of recommendations (and a good cake lady if you need one).
