Fall Activities

A Weekend of Festivals

As the title suggests, we spent the majority of our weekend partaking in my favorite fall activity, festivals! I love fall almost as much as I love Christmas. Almost. Candy corn, colored leaves, pumpkins and cooler weather. What’s not to love?
The festivals began Friday night at the Cougar Fun Fest which is held at a local elementary school which just happens to be the elementary school I attended. They have games, food, and the Great Pumpkin Drop and besides being lots of fun, it’s also a fundraiser for the school’s PTA.

Saturday was spent hanging out around the house and then Sunday we headed to Hartsburg, MO for their annual Pumpkin Festival. We’ve gone every year since Ben was born and each year he is able to do more and more.
This year Ben particularly liked the homemade potato chips.
And he completed the kiddie corn maze all by himself.
He also picked out his little pumpkin which he told us he would like to paint purple.
