Here are Kate’s questions to me:
1. What made you decide to start blogging? And how long have you been at it?
After reading lots of other blogs, I decided to start my own in 2010 as a way to document our lives. I’m so glad I have the big and not so big moments to look back on.
2. Do you have a blog you aspire to be like?
I really love Carolina Charm. Christina’s blog is the perfect mix of her personal life, DIY, recipes, and other random topics.
3. Coke or Pepsi?
All the Coke and Pepsi lovers are gonna hate me, but I really can’t tell the difference. They’re both okay, but I really love Dr. Pepper.
4. Favorite movie?
Pretty Woman or Hocus Pocus
5. Socks or no socks?
Socks. In high school and undergrad I used to wear flip flops all the time, even in Winter. Now I can’t stand having cold feet.
6. Did you ever have braces?
Nope, although many people think I have because my teeth are super straight. I also sucked my thumb for the longest time so I’m not sure how I avoided them.
7. Can you go a day without washing your hair?
I can, but it has be pulled back in a pony tail or curled. I’m jealous of the girls who don’t have to wash their hair everyday and can still wear it straight without it looking greasy.
8. Do you enjoy reading? If so, do you prefer electronic books or a hard copy?
I go through phases with reading. Sometimes I will read several books in a row, other times I go months without reading. When I do read I love me a paperback book.
9. Do you prefer cookie dough or baked cookies?
If it’s chocolate chip I prefer the dough and sugar I prefer the cookie, but really chewy.
10. What is one thing that you would change about yourself if you could with the snap of your fingers?
Besides my post baby belly…it would be my patience with Ben. I work with children with autism all day and have tons of patience with them, but often times I don’t have that same patience at home.
