For the past 3 days we’ve had horrible thunderstorms and apparently the worst are still coming. Last night we had some of the loudest thunder I’ve ever heard! Both kids slept through the entire storm and Jack didn’t even stir or make a peep.
In between the storms, Ben had his first T-ball practice on Tuesday night. It sprinkled pretty good towards the end of practice, but we made it through, just a little wetter and colder than we expected.
Have you ever seen a bunch of 5 year olds play baseball? Pure chaos. I can’t wait to see how the games go. The league Ben’s in is really laid back and each child gets to try out all of the positions and they don’t keep score. He is supposed to have practice tonight and twice next week with games starting at the end of April. It’s going to keep us busy for sure!
Can you tell I dressed him for what was supposed to be a sunny, 60 degree day? We had to improvise and throw on a long sleeve shirt.
And he’s off!
