This Easter was one of the best yet. We went to church, hosted Easter lunch for my side of the family, and then traveled to J’s aunt’s house for dinner and another egg hunt.
I love Pottery Barn’s Easter baskets and ordered Jack the white one to match Ben’s. When I got it in the mail this week I realized I ordered Jack the large sized basket. I ended up just turning the embroidered names to the back and made Jack’s the little one. I plan to order Ben the larger basket for next year so they’ll match.

For the table I decided to keep it really simple. I picked up these plates from Kohl’s at the last minute.
After lunch, the boys had an egg hunt in our yard.
J helped Jack collect eggs using a net 🙂
It was almost 90 degrees on Sunday so after the egg hunt we came inside and Ben and my dad dyed some eggs.
That afternoon we drove to J’s aunt’s house. She lives in the country and has an enormous yard that perfect for egg hunts.
Jack was content to just watch the older kids. Next year he’ll be out there with them running around like a crazy man.
