Weekending + Spring Break Week

Happy Monday! This weekend was filled with a little bit of everything. Cleaning, relaxing, working, and time with just the husband drinking a jumbo margarita and watching 10 Cloverfield Lane. Have ya’ll seen it? John Goodman was cast perfectly.

Besides aliens and creepy old men, I also got to meet one of my friend’s sweet new baby girl. Is she not perfect? Holding a teeny tiny newborn baby just never gets old.

I made these cream puffs since this is one of my husband’s favorite treats. He ate 8 the day I made them so I would call this one a success. I’m always afraid to make any kind of bread/roll but the recipe was actually pretty easy and I made homemade whipped cream for the first time. Am I the last person to do this?

Earlier this week I took a few days off for Ben’s spring break even though we didn’t go anywhere. We went hiking one day and had so much fun. We’ve already talked about another state park we want to hike so I think this may become our little thing to do together.
