Happy May! I can’t believe this is the first time I’ve posted this month which happens to be flying by.
I’d like to say that this Mother’s Day was the most wonderful day ever but honestly I’ve had better. The kids were acting crazy and there was little relaxation, but such is the life of mother and Mother’s Day is no exception. I did manage to snag one of my favorite pics of the boys but none of me and my mom or mil. oops.
So before you all start wondering if another little fish is on the way, this is not that kind of news. I am happy to share though that I will be starting a new job on Monday where I’ll be coordinating a new program at an autism center through our University. I previously worked there before taking my current job and while I’d be lying to say I wasn’t a little nervous, I’m excited for the change…and way less travel… and more normal hours. My last day at my job was yesterday so I’m hoping to knock quite a few things off my ever growing to-do list these next couple of days.
My friend Megan gave me this card several years ago and I’ve always kept it on my desk as a reminder to do what you love and let God handle the rest. She wrote such sweet words inside but my favorite was, “Wherever you land will be right where the Lord needs you.” We should all strive to be such an encouraging person and friend.
And while I might not have done such a great job blogging these last couple of weeks, I have been catching up on all of your posts and promise I will get better at commenting and emailing back. Thank you all for sticking around! Happy Hump Day!
