Weekend Recap

This weekend went by way too fast and we managed to do a lot.

Friday night we celebrated my birthday as well as my brother in laws. We tried out a new BBQ place and ordered the pulled pork nachos. They were so good I wish I would have gotten them as my meal.

As much as we liked our food, I don’t think anyone liked it more than Jack. He polished off an entire bowl of mac & cheese, licked the plate clean, and then handed me the bowl saying, “mo, mo.” Needless to say we ordered him some more.

Ben and his cousin played a game on J’s new iPhone 6 Plus. That thing is giant, but I’ll admit it’s growing on me.

Saturday was spent cleaning the house and doing small things here and there that I’d been putting off, like organizing Jack’s toys and books.

On Sunday I picked up my friend Alissa and her husband from the airport after their honeymoon. They were the two tannest people at baggage claim. And speaking of the couple, will you look at this sneak peak from the big day. We took this at the hotel we stayed at and it has the best roof top view.

The highlight of Sunday was that Ben lost his first tooth. He had been wiggling that sucker for days and I knew when he came to me with it all twisted to the side that it wouldn’t be long before he pulled it out. He put the tooth under his pillow and was ready for bed at 6:00pm just so the Tooth Fairy would come:)
